You broke the latch of a secret door;
the mists enveloped your naked body.
They took you.
They took you to a world so fantastic and beautiful.
The world was filled with magic and love.
The sacred mist transformed you,
making you a lonely fisherman with plenty
in the resilience of sweet waters,
with the energy of the dense woods,
making you an incredible hunter.
And was reborn.
Beauty was reborn among the banks
from the meeting of chaos and inner lightness;
the flame of the fire fed your will,
Oh, Father!
You are the balance of duality.
You are the banks of the river currents.
You are the youth between the art of struggle
and the act of sacrifice,
between the latent state and the expansive mode,
following the rhythm of the sea of love stories.
A love on feverish ground.
You are gold on blue.
Your energy is free, entwined with the Source,
where there are many white flowers in the gardens
of calmness,
where lightning and thunder protect your essence.

Marcelo Moreira is a visceral, intense underground artist, actor, and poet. Born and raised in Salvador, Brazil, he is the author of the poetry book “Sociedade dos Escravos Modernos” (Society of Modern Slaves). Moreira also sings and dances, producing artistic performances that come about through interpretations of his poetry.
