Publishing Underrepresented Voices
Kinsman Avenue Publishing, Inc, the parent company for Kinsman Quarterly, is a non-profit organization whose diverse team is committed to contributing to a literary world with expanded publishing opportunities for underrepresented voices. We envision a society where multicultural narratives are governed with authenticity, respect, and appreciation.
The mission of our 501(c)(3) organization is to celebrate, equip, and publish authors, poets, playwrights, and artists from BIPOC and traditionally underrepresented communities, empowering the voices, cultures, and histories that have been muted for generations. We accomplish this mission through the global distribution of our literary journal Kinsman Quarterly, the publication of books, and the development of writers through our online academy, writing programs, and internship opportunities.
VISION STATEMENT
At Kinsman Avenue Publishing, Inc., our vision is a literary world where diversity is not just acknowledged but celebrated. We envision a future where the voices, stories, and experiences of BIPOC and underrepresented communities are prominently featured and valued in all literary spaces. Through our quarterly journal, published books, and community programs, we aim to foster an inclusive and equitable environment that empowers writers to share their unique perspectives. By amplifying the rich and diverse cultures and histories that have been historically muted, we strive to inspire, educate, and create lasting change in the literary landscape.
